Rediscovering an Old Friend

Our Dog Blue is an appealing and versatile semi-sweet white wine. Blended from Riesling, Traminette, and Vidal Blanc, Our Dog Blue is mesmerizing with its depth of flavor and aroma. Melon and citrus character leap from the glass, trailing wisps of apricot and flower petals.

Firecracker Shrimp Appetizer

Sauté shrimp in butter or olive oil for 1 minute on each side until firm. Add chili sauce and white wine, sautéing for 30 more seconds and remove from heat. Stir in softened butter, tossing shrimp until well blended.

For plate presentation, arrange shrimp in the middle of the plate. Pour the sauce over the shrimp. Spoon 2 tbsp. of the salsa onto the middle of the shrimp. Garnish with the fried cellophane noodles standing up in the middle of the dish. Serves 4.

8 ea. 21/25 peeled and deveined shrimp
1/2 tbsp. melted butter or olive oil
1 tsp. chili-garlic sauce with garlic*
2 oz. Angel Chardonnay
2 tsp. softened, unsalted butter
Cellophane noodles*, fried

For the salsa
1/2 mango, small dice
1/2 golden pineapple, small dice
1/2 bell pepper, small dice
1 tbsp. red onion, small dice
1 tbsp. cilantro, chopped fine
1 oz. lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 oz. sugar
1/2 tbsp. garlic
